Mike Blaufeld, Account Executive, DJ Specialist, brings his vast knowledge and DJ know-how to Jan Davis Entertainment and Events as one of Washington's top DJ's. Having worked in the corporate, wedding, private event and club circuit, he brings his experience, style and energy to the JDE&E team. Having begun his career performing as a DJ himself in 1990, he then took over the consulting and scheduling of all DJ's for a well-known restaurant chain that spanned the East Coast. He has built an unparalleled reputation for himself personally as a DJ, and in addition, he has trained and promoted a number of DJ's that have become very popular and well- known in Washington, Maryland and Virginia for their unique styles and presentations. Mike emphasizes that a DJ can be fun and engaging without corny gimmicks or "shtick". He also feels that the current trend for DJ's to tell their clients what music they should or should not like is negative and unprofessional. A DJ should be able to advise and guide you through event without dictating to you who your favorite recording artists should be. |
